Here we have one of our current projects, involving the refurbishment of an old terraced house in the Penwortham area of Preston. We have installed a remedial damp course and rebuilt a damp chimney breast along with the removal of uneven floors to be replaced with new insulated concrete floors meeting current standards. Our client has specific needs and therefore we are also installing a proprietary sound proofing system to the party walls to keep out unwanted noise from the neighbours which is proving to be very effective. We are working closely with the owner to provide a dry, warm, structurally sound, quiet and comfortable environment. This will provide a blank canvas upon which our client will be able to stamp her own mark when the finishes are due in the safe knowledge that the final touches will not be spoiled by underlying building defects and her home can be enjoyed to its full potential.
